Logging between Jim Lake and North Bonaparte Road West Fraser in conjunction with High Bar First Nation, from Clinton, will be logging several small cut blocks south and east of Nolan Lake and along the North Bonaparte Road to the south. The blocks in the vicinity of Nolan Lake will be logged this year (late summer/fall) while the blocks along the North Bonaparte Road will be logged this summer. Logging will be a selection harvesting prescription, typically used in Douglas-fir stands, which will entail about a 50 - 60% removal of trees over the cut blocks. The logging is expected to be completed in the fall. There will be signage indicating logging activity but always exercise caution when using the trails. Maps are attached for reference. Note, be aware of the additional logging traffic on the Bonaparte Road as well as Prydatok Road.
